The entire theatrical work is a conspiracy, a theoretical machination, where the heroes change their masks more often than their clothes, causing complete confusion between the signifier and the signified, between identity and contradiction.
The heroes are simultaneously tragic and ludicrous, for their simplicity is imbued with suspicion, their mental acumen slips into naivety, and their pursuit to perceive the truth is preordained to fail since, according to the author, there is no objective truth.
