TOEFL

Test of English as a Foreign Language. A recognized two-year certificate, with more than 9,000 institutions in 130 countries recognizing it. It measures the examinee's ability to comprehend and use the English language at a university level. The exams are now conducted only in the form of the TOEFL iBT (internet-based test). Each university sets its own criteria, but usually scores of 90 and above are accepted.
