Chiaro! is an Italian language course divided into three levels (A1, A2, and B1), aimed at developing students' ability to learn and communicate directly. It is based on an action-oriented teaching approach, as suggested by the Common European Framework, and prefers activities that require interaction and collaboration among students in communicative environments focused on the authenticity of situations and language.

Thanks to a gentle and gradual progression, easily understandable teaching objectives, and a flexible graphic structure, Chiaro! is suitable for students who have never learned a foreign language.

Chiaro! B1 is the third volume of the course and includes:

• A student book with a workbook, 10 teaching units, 10 reflection and intercultural working sheets, 10 portfolios for self-assessment and strategy development, 10 exercise chapters, 10 phonetics sheets, 3 review units, and 3 self-assessment tests, as well as a systematic grammar.
• A CD-ROM with audio tracks and self-study exercises.
• An audio CD with listening excerpts for class activities.

Additionally, there is a teacher's guide with detailed instructions for conducting lessons, transcriptions of the audio tracks, and solutions to the activities. Chiaro! is a project approved by the scientific committee of PLIDA - Società Dante Alighieri.
