Description & Specifications

By adding dignity and authenticity to the testimonies of everyday people who are generally excluded from public discourse and visibility, the artistic language of Venia Dimitrakopoulou transforms into a tool of restoration and empowerment with great symbolic power.

It contributes to achieving the fundamental goal of her sociologist collaborators, Nikos Panagiotopoulos and Franz Schultheis: to bring everyday people out of darkness, from non-existence, to transform them into mirrors in which observers can recognize themselves, seeing their own position and unique way of thinking reflected.

The very experience that emerged from this collaboration offered the three creators the opportunity to address, through the book Dialogues, a call to all those who can contribute to the formation of a new form of effective intervention by intellectuals.

In order to answer the three key questions of today's social world in crisis: "what society do we live in?", "what society do we want to live in?", and "how will we get there?", answers that presuppose and entail a radical repoliticization of politics that has been depoliticized in the hands of an international order of technocrats.
