The Exercise Book offers exercises for reinforcing grammar, vocabulary, and expressive means. Each chapter includes additional vocabulary review from level A, grammar exercises where students discover the rules on their own, systematic practice of written expression, and targeted practice of correct pronunciation. The corresponding audio material is available on the teaching series' audio CDs. However, there is also the option to download it for free.

At the end of each chapter, there is a self-assessment test with review exercises of the material.

The basic vocabulary of all chapters as well as the material related to pair exercises in the student's book is found at the end of the Exercise Book.
