This glossary contains, chapter by chapter, the words and expressions that appear in the Kursbuch and Arbeitsbuch SICHER! C1.1, as well as their translation into Greek. Each page includes three columns: - in the left column the German entries are listed - in the middle column the explanations of the entries in German (e.g., synonyms, antonyms, examples) - in the right column their translation into Greek. The entries are listed according to their order of appearance in the texts and exercises. In larger texts, the entries are given - for your convenience - with reference to the sequence, paragraph, etc., where they are found. They are translated into Greek according to the meaning they have in the specific text. The words and expressions that you must definitely learn (Lernwortschatz) are given in bold black letters. Examples are often given in italics to make the interpretation of a word clearer or to show how it is used in a sentence. Notes:
- Nouns are listed in German with their article and plural form. When the plural form is not given, it means that the noun does not have or is not commonly used in the plural.
- Verbs are given in the infinitive and are usually translated into Greek in the first person singular. For irregular verbs, the principal parts are given in parentheses. For separable verbs, a slash distinguishes the first from the second component. Finally, verbs that are constructed with a prepositional object are given with the preposition and the corresponding case.
- Adjectives are given in their simple form - that is, without an ending - and are usually translated in the masculine gender.
