Each thematic unit presents basic language in context and through activities, including songs and rhythms, stories, sticker activities, and projects. Students work either independently, or in pairs or groups to develop basic language skills in English as well as 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.

The checklists after every three units focus on Assessment for Learning and allow students to assess their progress. Each book includes a preparation section for new learners' exams, 18 additional pages of reading skills, 18 additional pages of grammar, and 6 additional pages of exam preparation.

Grammar is presented visually and practiced interactively to maintain students' interest. Fun activities reinforce and motivate students to understand and acquire new language. Students are exposed to exam-type tasks and formats from the start and throughout the course, boosting confidence in participating in external exams.

A variety of content from topics such as Science, Mathematics, History, and Art is presented throughout the course, introducing the necessary vocabulary for students to learn other subjects and understand beyond everyday life.
