Public: French language students at levels B1 to B2 according to the Common Reference Framework, and anyone interested in exploring the various cultural aspects of France.

Content:

• Systematic study of regions grouped into 8 major areas (Île-de-France, Center, Bouches-du-Rhône, etc.).
• For each chapter, a general presentation (identity, image, history), landscapes and products, art of living, art and monuments, a Language-Writing section with a short literary text.
• Exercises and their correction at the end of the book.
• A small glossary with some terms translated into four languages.
• Approximately 250 color illustrations, maps, and diagrams.

Goals:

• Develop knowledge about the country: physical and human geography, landscapes, economy, art...
• Acquire extensive vocabulary with a view to French language exams as a foreign language.
