The NUOVO Espresso is a program for learning the Italian language divided into three levels (A1, A2, and B1) according to the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In relation to the historical edition of Espresso, it proposes new, contemporary audiences and content. It is not just an updated edition, but a brand new cycle that includes:

• new readings
• new listenings
• new activities
• an enriched cultural content section in the coffee section
• an updated and expanded exercise section
• VIDEOCORSO that narrates the stories of four friends in their daily lives, with work, romances, vacations, and funny surprises (the episodes can be used with or without subtitles in Italian)
• VIDEOGRAMMATICA that deepens the linguistic topics, structures, communicative functions, expressions, and ways that appear in the episodes of the videocorso.

The NUOVO Espresso 2 is the second volume of the program and is aimed at beginner level students.
