Central Macedonia … A seventeen-year-old girl who recently disappeared is found brutally assaulted and murdered beside a river, not far from the estate of a very wealthy man. Soon, the police discover, a little further away, a mass grave containing the bodies of four other girls who had also gone missing years ago, but from different areas of the country.

Roxane Valeritou, trying to overcome the recent death of her husband, decides to fulfill her one and only dream: to buy a farm with the money she inherited and to move with her daughter and her husband’s son from his previous marriage to the place where they used to spend their summers long ago.

Her acquaintance with her wealthy landowner neighbor Philip Venieri, as well as with the charming police officer Peter Zanos, who has taken over the case and found himself in the same place trying to escape his own "ghosts," will turn her life upside down. Even more so, when the murders continue, she will realize that her nightmares present to her the murders of the girls before they even happen, and that her daughter may be the next on the list of victims of a serial killer and rapist, who operates with absolute precision and for whom there is absolutely no indication of his identity.
