Description

Description

This book will help parents make the connection between spiritual life, as we understand it in the Orthodox Church, and the ongoing challenges of raising our children.

Between what God has revealed to the saints throughout the ages and what He reveals to another saint, our child, at the moment they are drawing with markers on the wall. We want to connect what happens in the Church on Sunday morning with what happens in our homes every day as we struggle to get the kids out of bed each morning and leave the house without incidents.

We need to make these connections for ourselves, not just for our children, and we need to learn that family life is a shared journey centered around love, not a series of tasks to be completed.

A book for every parent, regardless of whether they have a relationship with the church. The best parenting book I have read. I believe it should always be on the parent's nightstand and when they finish it, they should start it again from the beginning to fully absorb its meanings and incorporate them into their daily life.

Top book for raising children, especially for those who want to give God to their children! It contains many representative examples of what parents face in their daily lives. It presents both the usual reactions of parents and the appropriate response that should exist so that children truly benefit and a stronger connection is created between parents and children.

Thank God and congratulations to the author and to all who contributed to its creation. This book is nothing less than excellent! It has helped me miraculously, I would say, in my daily struggle as a father, as well as my wife too. The most important thing is that it comes to provide solutions to the practical aspect and to teach ways of behavior towards our children, within the Holy Spiritual framework of Orthodox teaching...

Excellent!!! If you get it, you won't regret it. Very well-written above all and comprehensive in its subject matter!!! I am a computer engineer and a graduate of early childhood education, a mother of 4 children.
I have read many books on parenting, gentle discipline, and child psychology.
    It lacks nothing!
On the contrary, it is adorned with words of wisdom from apostolic letters, words of the holy Fathers, without lacking scientific rigor. It truly does not lack any technique mentioned, for example, in the book on how to talk to your children so they will listen to you.
At the end, it has a long list of related books for further study. The author, among other things, is also a father of 7 children! Even if you are not religious, it is worth overcoming your prejudices and giving it a chance!

The best of what I have read......it gives us examples in everyday problems that we may face with children......it provides solutions for everything......it teaches us how to raise balanced individuals...and how to discipline children without raising our voices....in the end, it doesn't require effort, it requires a method....wonderful book...
