DDR4

DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM (Random Access Memory) technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and larger capacities.

Specifically, DDR4 offers operating speeds ranging from 2133 MT/s up to 4800 MT/s and CAS Latency (CL) from CL 9 up to CL 22. Its capacity has been increased up to 32GB per memory module.

When choosing speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), higher is generally better, but it's important to ensure that our motherboard supports the selected speed and capacity. For CAS Latency (CL), lower is better.

The Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro operates at a speed of 3200 MT/s with a CL16 and 8GB of memory per module.

Compatibility

DDR4 technology is compatible with specific motherboards and CPUs. For instance, DDR4 is compatible with Intel CPUs such as Skylake, Kaby Lake, Coffee Lake, and the latest Intel processors, as well as with AMD Ryzen and Threadripper CPUs.

These settings can be automatically applied by the system's BIOS when XMP is enabled.

RGB lighting

    Έτρεξαν απροβλημάτιστα στα 3200Mhz σε Ryzen 1700 (με την πρώτη γενιά των Ryzen να έχει αλλεργία στο θέμα συμβατότητας μνημών), επάνω στην Msi Mortar B450. Ο φωτισμός τους είναι άψογος και συνδυάζεται με τα υπόλοιπα Corsair περιφερειακά σας μέσω του iCue.
