    For the money, it is an excellent shoe. On several hikes in the snow, it has never let in water and I can't say that I got cold. Of course, it needs a good sock inside. To maintain it, it's good to apply maintenance cream and waterproofing spray from time to time. The sole is not Vibram, but it is quite good. It has served me well for 2 years.
