The Naval Movement of 1973 did not receive, after the Metapolitefsi, the publicity and projection it deserved compared to other anti-dictatorial efforts, due to the selflessness and modesty of the participants, but also for reasons of political expediency, which, unfortunately, in Greece always intrudes into every activity!

This publication does not seek literary laurels! The author believes that, for historical reasons, this personal testimony will help in drawing conclusions and ascertaining the truth, given that he lived for a long time and almost from the very beginning of this whole effort. (. . .)
