Description

Today the Universe is in the first "hours" of its existence: in the literal spring of its life.

This is a spring framed by the grandeur of brilliant blue-white stars, as well as stars like our Sun, while its adult story will begin much later, in billions of billions of years from now.

Even then, it will be a beautiful Universe, for those "beings" that will inhabit it, although it will be dimly illuminated only by the reddish, infrared stars that today are invisible to our eyes.

Of course, these will be beings with excessive powers at their disposal. Powers that our minds cannot even begin to imagine.

Nonetheless, looking back at our own brilliant era, they will envy us because we experienced the Universe when it was still a baby. They will envy us because we indeed live in the Spring of the Universe today!

The book also includes related photographic material.

Thales tried to understand the world through the eyes of science and to explain natural phenomena without using references to mythology, as was done until his time. He was a great teacher with a very significant influence on almost all later pre-Socratic philosophers, who followed in his footsteps in their effort to create documented, indisputable, and true beliefs about natural phenomena and celestial bodies using as tools Logic, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Astronomy, and not myths and legends. In other words, the ideas of Thales and the other Milesians created a bridge between two worlds, the world of myth and the world of reason.
