I went around all the big stores. All the toasters under 80-100 euros looked fake. Cheap materials, terrible assembly, screamed China from afar. I had this Ariete for 8 years and it just now gave up the ghost. It is a metal construction, well-made and sturdy, that feels like it will never break. A little beast. It doesn't have frills and trinkets but... it toasts sandwiches, baguettes, slices of bread, amazingly. Cleans easily. Of course, it's not for steaks. Needless to say, I bought the same one again. I wouldn't change it for anything.

Whatever I say about this humble toaster is not enough. I bought it 7-8 years ago for around 20 euros and I still use it with the same crispy and fast results. Okay, the non-removable plates have faded, the glass from the light has come off (the bulbs still light up normally), but in the end, what matters is that all these years I didn't even think about buying another one because it does its heavy duty perfectly and reliably. It makes toast and heats up food at least 4-5 times a day. It has paid for itself 1000 times and it keeps going. If you are practical people, choose it with your eyes closed.

5 years of daily use and it hasn't suffered anything, it's excellent! Fast and even cooking, I have roasted nuts, vegetables, omelettes in non-stick paper, and I also use it for meat warming, everything is super worth its money and it withstands time

I bought this specific toaster for 25 € 5 years ago when I found out about it to try it out. I had a Ronshon with three removable plates, but at 700W, it still works perfectly.
I replaced it with the Ariete to make crispier toast. The best toaster I have ever bought. It still works like the first day.
I simply turn it on, wait for the green light to come on (this instruction is also present in the Ronshon), and in two minutes I have perfectly toasted bread, not just with melted cheese and untoasted bread. The handle does not need to be pressed because it is heavy enough to exert the necessary pressure on its own.
If the cheese melts, I clean it with kitchen paper. It is also used by teenagers at home without any problem. I also bake pita bread.
Its non-stick plate has not suffered any damage in the 5 years of use.
I don't think I will ever need to change toaster.

The heat does not spread evenly across the entire grill and the lower grill resistances are noticeably weaker than the upper ones, as seen in the toasting of the bread. In order for the cheese to melt, you have to leave the bread a little burnt, which ruins the toast. Patience is needed for the desired result

It toasts well, making them crispy, but if you press the handle, they don't toast evenly. The grills are okay, not detachable but relatively easy to clean.
A big negative is the size of the toaster without any reason, it has a large handle that hinders storage, also cheap construction, the plastic covering the light came off, the plastic that holds the handle to prevent it from opening has loosened and does not stabilize it in the device, therefore it loses its practicality of easily removing it from the storage space.
I have definitely had it for over 2 years, but its negatives appeared from the first uses.

I did not expect such a good result with such an affordable price. It is truly amazing. I highly recommend it.

Uniform cooking, even though it does not have removable plates, it is very easy to clean. Nice design. Worth it!

I've had it for 3 years already & my sister for 4!
The only negative thing I discovered as soon as I bought it is that it didn't have an on/off switch, so either you plug it into an extension cord that has its own switch or you buy an adapter with a switch, costing about €2.5, like I did and you're good.
It cleans very easily, especially if after each use you put kitchen paper on the plates and close it. Do not use the green side of the sponge! Neither on this nor on any other.
Even for burgers, which I use it for occasionally, it does a very good job!
As for its size, I keep it permanently on the counter and it doesn't bother me. If I want to "spread out" I lock it and stand it upright, so it only takes up 1/4 of the space.
If I remember correctly, I bought it for €35.

It has withstood everything!!! I bought it as a student, used it during the season, and now at home. I make toast, souvlaki, burgers, schnitzel, kebabs. It has lasted 6 years and still going strong!

Toaster guy, it has been grilling burgers, schnitzel, sausages for 2 years. For the 24 euros I bought it, it is the most quality cooking/grilling device. Only if you spend over 40 to 45 euros will you get something better. But the question is, will it be worth it to spend...

I have been using it at work, under adverse conditions, for 4-5 years and I can't even remember how well it works flawlessly and cooks everything. I mainly use it to heat up food (steaks, chicken, burgers), of course also for toast, sandwiches, and even boiled potatoes. It heats up quickly and the construction is perfect. It cleans easily without any problem, and if you take care of it, it will last a lifetime.

It shows good construction but only in appearance! The plates are not easily cleaned. After two or three months of use, strange "patches" appeared on the external stainless steel part of the device. And the most important thing is that it does not toast evenly!!!!! It is a toaster that fails to toast bread!!!!! When I make moussaka, I will inform you, maybe it was made for a reason that we haven't learned yet....!

I have had it for three years and it hasn't suffered anything!!! The plates don't have a single scratch and they are very easy to clean. The quality is very good (no comparison with the cheap plastic ones that are on the market and people pay a fortune for)!!! The only downside is that the plates don't come off. It's 2023 (6 years) and it's still in great condition!!! The only thing that broke is the plastic covering the lights (my own mistake), it hasn't even made a scratch, and it doesn't stick to cheese or anything.

In use for about 2 years on a daily basis with difficult "operators" (children). Apart from the difficulty of cleaning (the plates do not detach), there is no problem and the performance in fast heating has not been affected despite frequent use (2-3 times a day).
It has proven to be tireless and very fast assistant in the kitchen, and with its easy storage (there is a side switch - lever that locks so that it does not open in the storage position).
The quality of its processed products has been praised in previous posts, and its confirmation is without a doubt worth commenting on.

Excellent, it heats up very quickly, makes the toast crispy, the plates may not be removable for washing, but they are of very good quality (residues from cheese, etc. do not easily stick). The handle is very helpful for applying pressure on the bread, although with a little more force, the balance easily shifts forward and there is a mini overturn.

In terms of its price, it is a relatively good choice. It heats up quickly, but not evenly. It has fully non-stick plates, but they are not removable. It has a small cord and no on/off button, and unfortunately, it is easy to tip over or burn yourself if you touch it in the wrong place while trying to grab it. It goes without saying that it can only fit 2 sandwiches. I don't know what kind of sandwiches the other reviewers have used, but references to 4 and 6 sandwiches are probably for baby sandwiches.

Very good and high-quality toaster. The only negatives are:
- The top plate does not heat up as much as the bottom.
- The plates are not removable (expected at this price) for easy cleaning.
- It does not have a switch to open and close or to adjust the temperature. Therefore, you have to plug and unplug it.

I bought it two days ago - of course, I hadn't noticed that the plates are not removable - which is its main disadvantage. On the other hand, it doesn't stand upright - but with a little support, it works just fine. On the positive side, it is fast, toasts the bread nicely, and is economical!

I was satisfied that I bought it and equally from the good reviews. The only negatives are that the plates are not removable for cleaning and in the toaster you cannot completely close the top plate with the bottom one, leaving a gap for the toasting, but it heats evenly and toasts the bread! The first image and its use impressed me, I highly recommend it, both for the good price and for the space for the toast!

We have had it for a month, if you are only looking for a toaster it is value for money, it heats up quickly and toasts bread perfectly, it does not stick and is very easy to clean despite the non-removable plates, I highly recommend it
