It is already pre-seasoned, meaning it has undergone the necessary treatment with vegetable oil that creates the suitable non-stick film to prevent food from sticking. Cast iron cookware has an excellent ability to maintain steady heat during cooking. Cooking in cast iron is generally much healthier, as it does not contain artificial chemical compounds like Teflon.

This skillet is significantly larger than standard stove sizes (the bottom has a diameter of 35 cm). Make sure the size works for you before ordering. Cast iron cookware may show aesthetic imperfections that arise from the casting or seasoning process, but these are not considered defects as they do not affect the functionality or longevity of the cookware.
