The Petromax sp28 forged pan is a high-quality cast iron skillet with excellent heat distribution. It is ideal for cooking various dishes, such as beef steaks, vegetables, stir-fries, or even a simple omelet. Iron is a material that heats up quickly and has a long lifespan. The pans are made from iron that has been forged with special tools to take on the needed shape. They have no paint or coating.

They are suitable for grilling on gas grills, BBQs, directly over fire, electric and ceramic cooktops, or induction cooktops. From the first cooking, a characteristic patina forms on the surface of the pan, which is perfectly normal and enhances its non-stick property. The surface of the forged pans improves the more they are used, making them increasingly non-stick over time.

    The pan really becomes non-stick if you take care of it, at least at the beginning. We went back to grandma's pan to avoid PFAS. I hope it's not full of heavy metals and that we don't get overloaded with polycyclics... :P

    Pure disappointment. Before using it, I carefully read the instructions to properly season it. After many attempts, the result is what you see in the photo. It sticks worse than a non-stick pan. Not to mention the fact that the sizes they state are a few millimeters smaller, resulting in lids of the same size purchased not fitting these pans. Overall, a waste of money.
