Description & Specifications

The cast iron Dutch oven by Petromax features a flat bottom and is ideal for use on a stovetop or in the oven. It is suitable for direct use on fire, wood-fired oven, BBQ, or fireplace. The lid of the Dutch oven can be turned upside down, thanks to the 3 support legs it has, and used as a cooking plate. When placed on top of the Dutch oven, it creates perfect baking conditions by trapping heat and cooking the food evenly from all sides. The lid has a special hole for a food thermometer.

The Dutch oven is already pre-seasoned and ready to use, with a light coating of vegetable oil for non-stick protection. Cast iron cookware has excellent heat retention capabilities during cooking, with a baking method that preserves the juices of the foods and ensures flavorful results. Using cast iron cookware is healthier as it does not contain artificial chemical compounds like Teflon.

Note: It is recommended to carefully measure the dimensions of the oven or fireplace to ensure compatibility with the Dutch oven. There may be aesthetic imperfections resulting from the casting or seasoning process, which are not considered defects.
