The ft4.5 is the classic family cast iron Dutch oven from Petromax with 3 legs, ideal for use over the fire, in the oven, in a wood stove, on a BBQ, or in a fireplace. The lid of the Dutch oven can also be used as a grilling plate, also featuring 3 supporting legs. When the lid is placed on the Dutch oven, it traps heat, allowing for even cooking of the food from all sides. It has a special hole for a food thermometer. The Dutch oven is already pre-seasoned with vegetable oil for a non-stick coating, ready for use.
Cast iron cookware provides excellent heat retention during cooking, ensuring that the food retains its juices and delivers a flavorful result. Cooking in cast iron cookware is healthier, without artificial chemical compounds like Teflon.
