The work "Issues of Alimony Law" is the Proceedings of the 5th Hellenic Conference of the Family Law Society, held in Kalamata on November 10 and 11, 2017, by prominent Greek jurists. The focus of the Conference was the collective contribution to family needs during cohabitation and after the separation, the time, manner, extent, and content of alimony in normal periods and in times of economic crisis, alimony after divorce, especially for reasons of leniency, compensation for loss of alimony and services due to the death or bodily injury of one spouse, the interaction of child support payments with custody and hindering communication, the abusive exercise of alimony claims, support among siblings, the applicable law, international jurisdiction, the recognition and enforcement of decisions on alimony issues according to Regulation (EC) 4/2009 of the Council of December 18, 2008, the obligation for alimony, and the criminal protection of the corresponding right. The findings of the conference on alimony law issues were summarized by Professor Emeritus of the Law School of A.U.Th, Mr. Th. Papazisis.
