This book aims to narrate the story of ancient Israel and the birth of its sacred scriptures from a new, archaeological perspective.

The goal is to attempt to distinguish history from legend. Based on the evidence of recent discoveries, a new story of ancient Israel will be presented, in which some of the most well-known events and figures of the Bible play unexpectedly different roles.

Ultimately, however, the aim is not mere reconstruction. It is primarily the dissemination of the latest archaeological insights, still unknown to the general public, not only about when but also about why the Bible was written and why it remains so powerful even today.
