The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old is an exceptionally balanced choice, with gentle notes of vanilla, honey, and dried fruits. It doesn’t impress in a flashy way — and that is its strength. A single malt with character, without exaggeration, ideal for a calm, everyday enjoyment at the end of the day.
I prefer it neat, in a low glass, without haste.

What can you say about this whiskey? One of the best in the world in taste, aroma, aftertaste, appearance. Even if it costs double, you would still buy it again

The Macallan 12 years single malt whisky is a single malt whisky from Scotland from one of the best distilleries (if not the best at the moment). Personally, I recommend it to be enjoyed neat, as this way you will appreciate its strong balanced and "spicy" flavor from the citrus, caramel, honey, and raisin, along with the aromas of orange, apple, vanilla, and oak barrel. It is a delightful "companion" every afternoon....

For the money, definitely top three along with Blanton's!! If anyone has the chance, I recommend all connoisseurs to try it, it's worth it 9.5/10

This, like the Lagavulin 16, is an ideal choice for a gift but also, of course, for everyone. At the price of 65 to 75, both are exceptional. I would say that this one slightly surpasses as it is not smoky, which some people do not like. It has a gentle apple flavor and a subtle vanilla aroma.

Although Macallan=Sherry Cask, all the double casks keep the company's flag high and meet expectations. I would give it a 4.5/5 as I consider the 12 sherry cask to be a step above, but this is also an exceptional product.

It is the best, at least among those I have tried. Very good for those who don't really like whiskey or don't have much experience. The price is Scottish. I believe that all good Scottish distilleries charge excessively. On the other hand, for Macallan 12, it is truly worth putting your hand in your pocket, for an additional reason. By drinking this, you don't need to go higher, you don't need, for example, to go for a whiskey that costs 180 or 230 euros. I don't know about the more expensive ones, but in this range, Macallan 12 covers you perfectly in my opinion.

Old time classic and unbeatable. A whisky with a creamy taste that leaves you with sweet notes of cinnamon, without becoming spicy. With just a little bit of water added, it brings out its rich aromas. It may be expensive, perhaps beyond the financial means of most, but it is worth every euro. You don't need a Macallan 90 worth 15,000 euros to take you on a journey, the old double cask is enough.

What can I say, a nice quality whiskey for those who know their tastes, with a single ice cube being sufficient. It is recommended to be drunk in a glass with a narrow neck like the one in the photo, as the aromas come out much better.

First time trying Macallan. I have no experience at all, but I can say that it is exceptional. I should add that it didn't disappoint!

As a simple worker, although a whiskey drinker for decades, few times my cellar had Macallan. Of course, Macallan under 100€ and not those found in the Guinness records. One of them was the Old Double Cask. Leaving aside the social concerns and drinking the drink, it is an exceptional malt. Complex flavor that starts spicy with several aromas, perhaps even cinnamon, while the sweet notes remain until the aftertaste, reminiscent of a bit of honey, vanilla. Definitely top-notch, among the few I have tried in these price categories. It is worth accompanying special moments. As for Macallan at 4-5000€, I have no knowledge.

Very nice whiskey, very high quality. Almost no burning sensation in the throat, which is expected for a whiskey of this caliber.

Excellent whiskey! Very nice aftertaste. At the beginning, it is spicy and at the end, it leaves a very nice honey flavor in your mouth. Highly recommended!
