With the Philips Baby monitor Avent SCD506/26, you are next to your baby, even when you are elsewhere. It has a range of up to 330 m and the ability to transmit signals on multiple channels, preventing interference from other devices. DECT technology provides high-quality sound and two-way communication with your baby, so you can soothe or lull them in your own unique way! It operates on battery and is rechargeable, offering autonomy that reaches up to 18 hours. Equipped with a digital display, it allows you to easily monitor the temperature of the baby's room.

DECT technology guarantees zero interference from other transmitting products, such as other baby monitors, cordless and mobile phones. The use of encrypted data provides an absolutely secure and private connection, ensuring that only you can hear your baby.

To know if the monitor is connected and within range

The parent unit alerts you when the monitor is out of range or when the battery level is low, so you are always connected to your baby.

Night Light and Lullabies

Help your baby relax by choosing one of the 5 soothing melodies available. Dim the light for a pleasant sleep. Both functions can be easily activated from the parent or baby unit.

Temperature Control

Thanks to the temperature sensor, you are able to monitor and adjust the temperature in your baby's room, and receive notifications in case of any changes. This ensures an ideal environment for your baby to relax.

Range up to 330 meters

Indoor range up to 50 meters, outdoor range up to 330 meters.

Night Mode

Through the notification settings menu, you can choose silent mode or vibration to be alerted at night, as well as reduce the screen brightness. Just press a button to activate the night mode.

The parent unit works ideally with power, but for greater freedom of movement, you can insert batteries and use it wirelessly.

Baby intercom system and what to watch out for during use

1. Do not place the baby unit inside the crib, nor in a spot where the baby can grab it with their hands. On the other hand, the further away you place it, the more the sound clarity decreases. Conduct tests and place the unit at the farthest point from the child, from where the device can still pick up even the lowest sounds and transmit them clearly.
2. The baby should not be able to reach the device's connection/charging cables. Ensure they do not have access to them.
3. Check if the parent unit goes out of range, runs out of battery, or is on mute or low volume while it is not in your line of sight. The out-of-range or battery replacement/recharging alert functions that many intercom systems have are useful in this regard.
