Aiming to provide high acoustic performance even with lower power, the APS 8 R has been designed for use in an 8.5-liter power-reflective enclosure, tuned between 30 and 40 Hz.

The woofers in the Prima series have been developed with the primary goal of high performance in tight spaces. Output is a matter of excursion, as the more air moves through the cone, the greater the performance.

The woofers in the Prima series use a special basket-container-cassette geometry that guarantees large displacement of the moving assembly while keeping the mounting depth to a minimum.

The design of a cooling circuit with air ducts in the basket eliminates the need for vents in the bottom plate, allowing the subwoofer to be mounted close to the rear wall of the enclosure, making the most of the reduced mounting depth.
