The APS 8 D is designed to deliver maximum performance in a sealed enclosure with extremely compact volumes ranging from 7.5 liters to 8.5 liters. It features push terminals for easy wiring and is developed with a primary goal: to provide high performance in tight spaces.
The output is a matter of excursion. The more air moves in the cone, the more performance. The subwoofers in the Prima series utilize a special geometry of the basket-container-cassette that guarantees significant displacement of the moving mass while keeping installation depth to a minimum.
It has been carefully designed to avoid the phenomenon of "swaying." Additionally, the design of a cooling circuit through air ducts in the basket is considered innovative, eliminating the need for vents on the bottom plate. This allows the subwoofer to be installed close to the back wall of the enclosure, making the most of the reduced installation depth.
