Connected to my Toshiba UHD TV, which only has 3 HDMI inputs. I connected my PS4, DVD player, and an additional decoder (OSIO) for any recordings, and it works perfectly! As for durability and reliability... if any issues arise, I will update.

I connected my PC (1080p), Ps4 Pro (4K), and Ps3 (1080p) to a Samsung 4K TV with HDR. It works flawlessly with all three devices, without any issues with resolution, sound, or disconnections, etc. Fast switching between devices. You won't need anything more expensive. There is also a version with 5 inputs. I would definitely choose it again.
