The Petromax 800103 cast-iron burger press shapes round patties and leaves the distinctive grill pattern on one side thanks to its ribbed surface. The cast iron retains heat, allowing the patties to sear over the fire and then cook through with the residual heat. The recessed wooden handles and locking hook allow the press to be closed and held securely among the coals.

For cleaning, the two parts of the press can be separated at the hinge, making it easy to remove any cooking residue.
