Passive Car Subwoofer SS 15 D2 by Hertz. This speaker has a nominal power (RMS) of 1200 Watts and a diameter of 15 inches. The speaker does not have a box, which helps save space in the cabin or trunk of the car. Passive subwoofers like this one do not have a built-in amplifier, so an external amplifier is required for them to operate, which also determines the quality of sound reproduction. Passive speakers do not experience the phenomenon of overheating of the speaker and air during operation due to the absence of an internal amplifier.

    At 200 euros, it doesn't have any well-known and reliable 15-inch speakers...... I have a box with two of them playing at idle with a Soundigital 3000:1D amplifier at 50% and the settings at -1 for the subwoofer. The car is a big sedan and I installed two of them to make sure the bass will reach. Now, if I want to turn it up, there is still plenty of room. Before, I had a 12-inch one and it barely made any sound, especially in some songs.
