Description

Mimis Plessas is perhaps considered today the most educated composer in Greece. He is one of the few people who know how to speak their language correctly, possessing vividness and an enviable eloquence.

He himself does not distinguish music into genres. And he has proven this throughout his musical journey. Music, for him, is the moment that unites our faith, our friendship, our wisdom, our love, our disappointments, and our graces.

He has engaged with all kinds of music: orchestral, symphonic, popular, experimental, and modern music. Yet, he has been questioned like no one else, and recognition was delayed for him.

He went through a period of crises and criticisms, but when the great anonymous and just audience broke free from the orchestrated influences of the media, they gained their own consciousness and judgment, ultimately placing him where he deserved.

And today, he savors this intoxicating acceptance from all generations of Greeks who grow up, dream, sing, dance, and fall in love with his songs.
