Clear sound, honest bass that performs very well in terms of volume. The soundbar is also good value for the money. I bought it and use it on my office computer. The soundbar fit very comfortably under the monitor and the subwoofer under the desk.

Bought it for 89 euros, so at this price I will judge it. For this amount of money, you can't even buy a simple JBL Flip speaker. Initially, I bought it to listen to music, not to connect it to the TV. I bought it for the bedroom because I had a JBL Charge 3 for sound and I wanted something bigger in terms of volume and bass, but I didn't have the space for a large soundbar, nor did I want to spend money on a bigger JBL. So, the biggest selling point for me, apart from the price, is its compact size, which fits perfectly on my nightstand. The sound comes from the front, so I placed some decorative items on top of it, which doesn't take up any space in essence. The subwoofer is wireless and I placed it on the other side of the room. The sound and bass are superior to the JBL Charge 3 that I had, which was more expensive in the end. I am amazed by the volume, but when you turn it up to the maximum, it's not as clear, it loses some quality, but I don't mind because I will never have it at such a high volume in such a small room. Overall, it was a fantastic purchase for its price, with the only drawback being that it requires electricity, as it doesn't have a battery (since it's a TV soundbar) and it can't be used outdoors. So, if this doesn't bother you and you want a speaker that doesn't take up much space and can discreetly sit on a shelf, then this Panasonic series with the compact bars is perfect for you! As for using it for TV series, movies, etc., I can't judge because I don't use it for such purposes. If I ever try it, I will come back and update my review.

At the price of 89€, I would consider it a good value. At the usual price of 130€, not so much, as there are other companies that offer stronger wattage for around 150€. The sound is clear for the 120W in a 40m² space, both for music and movies.
The size and placement of the woofer are convenient, whether vertical or horizontal. It has HDMI ARC for adjusting the volume with the remote control, but for other functions (woofer volume, switching from music to cinema, etc.), it has its own controller.
I have noticed a few disconnects between the woofer and the bar, which can be fixed with a restart. I hope this is not a sign of future issues.
Overall, for now, it is a good choice and time will tell.

First impressions:

A major advantage is the compact size for those who have limited space.

A major disadvantage is the sound adjustment of the central bar with only 3 pre-set settings: STANDARD (flat) - MUSIC (emphasis on high frequencies) - CINEMA (emphasis on low frequencies), all options give a "dry" sound result (MUSIC more, CINEMA less). However, it is clearly better than the TV's built-in speakers.

The subwoofer volume can be adjusted separately in 4 levels.

The soundbar has a slot for a detachable power cable and the following 3 ports:
1) HDMI ARC: allows adjusting the sound volume from the TV remote and automatically turning on/off the soundbar with the TV.
2) Optical, and
3) USB: only for software upgrades - not for music playback, etc.
There is also the option to connect via Bluetooth (I have not tested the sound quality yet, but Bluetooth is unlikely to have the same quality as wired connection).

The subwoofer has only an integrated power cable (about 1m long) and nothing else. It communicates wirelessly with the soundbar. To avoid interference, the manufacturer's manual recommends not having any other wireless source that transmits at 2.4 GHz within a distance of 2 meters (wireless phone, Wi-Fi router, etc.).

The unit settings can be adjusted both from the remote control and the buttons on the soundbar.

The sound quality is partly subjective. Objectively, it does not reach the levels of BOSE or SONOS, etc. However, for its compact size and price, I think it is a good choice if there is limited space or if the user wants to place it between the TV's stands (when they are at the edges of the screen), which is recommended for the sound to come from the TV and not from an unrelated point.
However, the bass intensity is clearly more natural than in the equivalent CREATIVE model (which I have on another TV) where the bass dominates even when set to the minimum volume. If the user had the ability to "play" with EQ settings on the soundbar, then we would be talking about another level.

Finally, the SC-HTB254 model, although more expensive, does not seem to have any difference from the SC-HTB250 (the "EGK" indication is not mentioned anywhere on the website of the Greek representative or in the manual - it may refer to import regions).
