“The Wave” is a true story that took place in the U.S., at a California high school, in 1969. Ben Ross, a history teacher, organizes his students in his class according to Nazi principles as part of an “experiment” that would help provide answers to the students’ unanswered questions about the phenomenon of fascism.
Before he even realizes it, the 'Wave,' with its slogan “Strength through Action and Discipline,” escapes the confines of his classroom and sweeps across the entire school. As most students participate in the movement, only two students, Laurie Saunders and David Collins, seeing the terrifying momentum of the Wave, realize that they must stop it before it is too late...
