Description

Can a bunny that is too timid to leave its home show a drop of courage? Logan sets off on his first adventure, and he is not excited about it at all. However, an amazing world awaits him outside, as long as he finds the courage to discover it... A funny yet encouraging story that shows we are all much braver than we think.

Theme: Friendship, Courage, Adventure

Tone: Tender, Funny

Age: From 3 years old

Suitable:

  • For children who hesitate to try new things.
  • To start a discussion about how we overcome our fears.
  • For children who love animal stories.

Why This Book Is Special:

It is a story that encourages children to discover the courage hidden within them. With tenderness, it highlights the value of friendship and patience. The illustration is full of liveliness and helps children imagine the world of the heroes. It is ideal for preschool children and can help them understand and manage the emotion of fear.

With the book you can:

  • Discuss: What is Logan afraid of? How does he feel when Luna challenges him? What does it mean to have courage?
  • Ask the child: Have you ever felt like Logan? What helps you be more courageous? What is your favorite moment from the story?
  • Play/Create/Imitate: Draw the characters from the book. Put on a small puppet show. Play a game where the child has to overcome a small fear (e.g., try a new food).

Read an excerpt

"Logan was a rabbit who liked

to stay at home. His friend Luna

was more adventurous.

Every day she had a

new adventure. It sounded

exciting, but also scary.

So, whenever Luna said to him, "Come outside with me! It's fun!",

Logan would reply, "Oh, no.

I will never go outside.

It's too scary."

Wonderful quality of paper and illustration! We already had "Dragons Don't Share" by the same author, which is one of our favorites. I won't say that this particular book surpasses it in plot, but it conveys a beautiful message and keeps the children's interest.

  • After our favorite story, Shhh Quiet, from the same series, I would say that it is interesting but not like the previous book which has become my son's obsession. The story is interesting, it has nice messages, but it feels like it needed something more within the text. That's why 4 stars. We are looking forward to the other books by the same author

I, in contrast to the good reviews it has, will say that I didn't like it at all. Once again, the "big bad wolf who wants to eat you" appeared, and I was completely turned off. I honestly thought we had moved past those outdated fairy tales from our grandmothers that scared children for no reason and stigmatized certain animals as "bad" (the series "Zacharias the Wolf" tries quite successfully to "reintroduce" wolves to children without a negative connotation). I believe there are many wonderful books that deal with courage and friendship in a very beautiful and creative way, without using ugly images. I returned it without even reading it to the kids.

  • A beautiful story that speaks not only about "a drop of courage" but also about the value of friendship. The child has loved this book very much and when we don't read it to him, he happily flips through its pages! It has beautiful illustrations, large letters, and short sentences, exactly what is needed for young ages.

What a beautiful fairy tale! First reading to a 2.5 year old child, kept her interest until the end, with suspense and nice illustrations. Also, the size is big and there are enough pages. Useful in terms of the messages it conveys to the child. Definitely recommend it.

Nice fairy tale that talks about a little bunny who preferred to stay home, unlike his adventurous friend. However, he eventually finds the courage, goes out into the forest, and ultimately saves his friend.
