Their focal distance is usually 24-35mm for full-frame, 15-25mm for crop frame, and 50-70mm for medium format. They are commonly used in street photography but also in indoor spaces where there is limited distance from the subject. The perspective of wide-angle lenses makes things appear farther apart than they actually are.

The Samyang AF 14mm F2.8 lens offers superior optical performance with a 35 mm full-frame image sensor, excellent image quality, and beautiful background blur. The 14 mm focal length and approximately 114° angle of view provide impressive results in large landscapes and personalized snapshots.

The ultra-wide 113.9° angle allows capturing creative space beyond what the eye meets, offering an expanded sense of dimension.

Samyang's optical technology ensures high image quality. The lens features seven elements in six groups, two aspherical lenses, and one high-refractive lens, along with Ultra Multi Coating to minimize aberration and unnecessary light dispersion, providing high resolution from the center to the edges.

The minimum focusing distance of just 0.20 m allows for capturing vivid close-up images of portraits, pets, and food.

The AF system ensures fast and accurate focusing, capturing fleeting moments with maximum precision and clarity. The 7 diaphragm blades offer smooth out-of-focus areas and a beautiful bokeh effect, ideal for portraits and night shots.
