In a curved dashboard, I simply cleaned both the spot and the suction cup with kitchen paper and alcohol, and it doesn't come off even if you want it to. The magnet is very strong. The blade indeed doesn't stick again if you remove it, but I found replacement parts that are bigger for €2 for 2 pieces. If you have the arm fully extended, the phone will shake, but it hasn't fallen off from the magnet. In the 2 months that I had an iPhone, the magsafe came off a couple of times even though it was a base without an arm. I highly recommend it. The only downside is that the positions on the screws to loosen and change position are a bit strange and it requires 2 hands at an odd angle

In my opinion, this foundation should cost more!! With the proper application, it can withstand all conditions, both indoors and outdoors. For its price, buy it WITHOUT HESITATION

1. I needed a crane to be able to place it in a position where the phone can pull and shoot videos and be easily accessible, without obstructing visibility.
2. It did not stick well to the dashboard of my car (Golf 4).
3. No issues with the magnets on the phone, even under the case.
4. Very good overall build quality and all the clamps work very well.
5. It includes the metal piece that you will attach to the phone to be held by the magnet.

It is "disposable", meaning that if for any reason you detach it and try to reattach it, it will never stick as well again, it's garbage.

Also, due to the telescopic arm, it is not as stable as other ones with a shorter arm.
Finally, the round part with the magnet has a screw at the back that keeps it stable. This loosens and the phone rotates (doesn't stay straight). With a little tightening, it can be fixed.

In terms of quality, it didn't offer anything more than the thousands of other no-name Chinese ones.

The base is very stable. Stick it once (not put on and take off) and before you place your phone on it, let the glue set well for a day. I attach a phone that I use for a dashcam (autoboy), it weighs 240 grams together with the case (the magnet is on the outside) and it stays still. I had bought it before, but in the summer with the heat, the suction cup came off the plastic, so it was useless. The arm is very convenient.

I bought it in the winter, everything was fine, until summer came and it couldn't withstand the high temperatures in the car. The suction cup on the windshield remained in place, but the plastic parts of the base are not of good quality, resulting in it hanging and moving like a leaf... maybe a dashboard mount without extensions and with fewer plastic parts would be better... I hope I helped...

Waste of money!
Neither of the two metal bases fits on the phone. I used double-sided adhesive tape for bathroom mirrors and it works great. The suction cup doesn't stick to the car window at all. I didn't use the adhesive tape because the base is supposed to be discreet.

The base is only for the windscreen, the adhesive on the metal plate that will stick to the phone is insufficient, I glued it with instant glue on top of the phone. It performed well on a forest road that I drove on, initially I stuck it on the dashboard (and it came off after a while), but the video had shaking, the video is very good on the glass, time will tell. Edit 4/7/2021 The suction cup remains stable, but the arm moves back and forth, the product is not good.

The suction cup has an adhesive that is obviously meant for one-time placement. For me, who needed a base that can be removed and repositioned, it is NOT convenient. However, it is quite stable. I have installed it under the mirror on the windshield so that it is hidden when not in use (yes, it is so small that it won't be visible when closed). After a week of use on a trip, I must admit that it is more convenient and stable than I expected. So, for its price, it is worth it, just make sure to place it ONCE, and if you need to put it in a different position/car, it's better to get a second one. Very good base and convenient. Strong suction cup. It doesn't shake from vibrations. We will see how it will withstand over time.

The best and most economical base with a magnet... you put it on and you don't worry... the only negative is that if you happen to take it off, it's difficult to put it back on again... other than that, I highly recommend it.
