With the completion of the memorandum structure, into which the country will be confined for the indefinite future, Greece is transitioning to a secondary-supplementary economy and society in relation to Central European ones.
With the main productive means of the place integrated into the plans of foreign economies that are competitive with our country, with the massive emigration of primarily advanced human resources, with the ongoing destruction of the small property-based mode of production, with the alienation of family and property assets due to the prolonged memorandum recession, with the complete flexibilization of labor relations, and with the intensification of the demographic issue, Greece is becoming a field of low-skilled labor, occasional and seasonal entrepreneurship, ultimately making it a defenseless place, subject to the whims and choices of the market's nomadic capital.
It is not only the pre-legislated cuts in pensions and other income-restricting measures, but primarily the drastic reduction of state funding and the abolition of all social agreements and tolerances (Supplementary Funds, Welfare Funds, Subscription Funds, Mutual Aid Funds, Charitable Funds, etc.) that will limit the payments to every retired worker...
And in combination with the rejection of the model of full and insured employment and the generalization of flexibility, informality, and insecurity ("precarity"), which lead to a continuous reduction of contributions, pensions will continually decrease until they turn into "Victorian-era" assistance.
An institutional atavism, which is gradually generalizing in other European countries, leads us to the subculture of the Memorandums, strict fiscal oversight programs, and the burial of the already weakened institutional guarantees of social and individual rights, of trade union freedoms, and the complete reversal of the meaning of the autonomous and struggling collective social subject aimed at improving life.
The sooner our proud people realize this new attempt at deception by the parties of the memorandum arc, the more we will hope that they will react to the memorandum "normality," which, through empty slogans about "clean exits," they are trying to impose on them as a way of life.
