It moves inflatable 3.5m with 2 people (220kg including boat, battery, and equipment) adequately for short distances. With a heavier load, it will struggle but still get the job done. With a deep discharge battery of 115ah, it lasts about 3 hours at speeds 4 and 5, meaning at the faster speeds. The maximum speed with the given data is about 4 knots/hour. It does not need to be registered at the port authority. For short coastal trips, it is just what you need.

A very good purchase. Bought it to be able to do trolling with the boat. It could handle almost 750Kg (Boat 5m - Engines - Batteries - Equipment + 2 people) at 1.3 Knts in calm conditions and 0.4 Knts against current & wind with the first speed. In mixed fishing conditions for 6 hours, it operated for 4 hours with 1st & 2nd speed and 2 hours with 3rd or 4th. The deep discharge battery 115 Ah (85 C5) did not drop below 60%. In calm conditions, it reaches close to 4 Knts with the 5th speed. The ability to turn 360 degrees helps a lot in maneuvers and provided an immediate change of direction whenever requested.
Its shaft is 90cm and it has no issue with the height so that the propeller sinks properly to catch water.
