Sophia lost her teddy bear on the beach. No one saw it except for the Sea... Flipping through the book, we follow the adventures of the little bear in the water, in the sea, as he tries to find Sophia and return her favorite toy. And time goes by. The illustrations of the fairy tale are particularly interesting: Through an original initiative called Rijksstudio, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam granted access to 125,000 images from its collection to be used and freely edited by everyone. Tom Percival was fascinated by the idea of creating something new by combining his own illustrations with elements from classic paintings, and thus he was inspired to create the world of this book, using works by Willem Roelofs, Aelbert Cuyp, Vincent van Gogh, Maurits van der Valk, and Hendrik Willem Mesdag.
