The Makita DGA901ZKU2 angle grinder is a 36 V cordless model with a brushless motor and a disc diameter of up to 230 mm. AFT technology stops the motor if the tool jams, while ADT automatically adjusts the speed for optimum performance according to the demands of the task. It features soft start and an electric brake.

The AWS system connects the grinder to the DVC864LZ vacuum cleaner via Bluetooth. The vacuum starts when the tool is switched on and shuts off after a delay. The detachable rear handle transmits fewer vibrations, while the metal guard protects the batteries from damage.
