I had bought it about 1 and a half years ago. In a 100mbps line, it had about a 10mbps deviation. Occasionally, it would disconnect a few times, but nothing major. Until 3 months ago, it stopped pairing. After searching the internet for all the solutions and trying them all, I managed to connect only once, until I restarted it and it didn't connect again. Eventually, I went to the store where I had bought it and they sent it to the company. After about 20 days, the store called me to return it to me, as the company said they checked it and found NO problem. Of course, when I received it and tried it again, it didn't pair and I returned it for repair once again. Finally, a month later, I was informed by the store where I bought it that they will refund me. How we went from no problem to a refund, I can't understand. Of course, for 2 months, I had to use a 10-meter cable because it had to be sent twice for repair. That's it from me, of course, I will not buy anything else from this company, not because this specific product turned out to be faulty, as it is normal for such things to happen, but because the company's service is UNACCEPTABLE.

Today I received it, I hope I won't have to renew the evaluation. I already had a TP Link powerline for a few years, one of those that don't have a plug on top. I was satisfied with the fact that it didn't disconnect like wifi and it's more stable, but having it on a power strip means you lose at least half of the speed. However, my house is old and has few outlets, almost none without a power strip that can reach both the PC and the router. I randomly saw this and decided to order it to see if it does the job, since when I tested the old powerline directly in an outlet, I saw that there were no losses, or very small ones around 2-3 mbps. The best solution is definitely to run an ethernet cable from the router, but if you don't want cables, etc., and you don't have many outlets to spare, this is the solution. Also, by plugging the router's powerline directly into an outlet, I noticed that even the old powerline I had now has almost no losses, even though it's on a power strip. But in general, as the instructions say, it must be plugged directly into an outlet and it doesn't lose any speed. Those of you who say you lose speed even when it's plugged directly into an outlet, have an issue with the electrical wiring in your house, or there is "noise" from something heavy like a refrigerator, oven. Try a different outlet.

I bought them for €54.90 and I have had them for 2 months now. Quite satisfied with the purchase of these specific PLCs. I upgraded the house's line to 100 Mbps and the technician moved the router to the living room and removed the line in the room to avoid connection losses. This created a problem for me since I have my desktop computer there, from which I work, make video calls/meetings on Skype and Teams, and play online competitive games. The wireless ping was high and the speed I was getting was low due to the walls. The PLCs solved the problem for me and it's almost like having the modem/router in the room again.
I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I didn't know if they would work properly. My room is next to the living room and I would say that the wiring inside the walls is at most 10-12 meters apart from socket to socket, and the sockets are on different circuits in the panel (35-year-old apartment).
The 600 Mbps speed they mention is the maximum communication rate between the two devices. In my case, the devices communicate with each other at a speed of 200-270 Mbps, so I assume that if I added a third device in another room, it could also communicate at the same speed as the main PLC device, reaching a total of 500-550 Mbps.
The installation was a piece of cake. I plugged the main device into the socket where the router is, went to the room and plugged the second device into the socket where the computer is, and within 1 minute they had automatically connected to each other. If they don't connect, then you need to press the "pair" button on each device for 1 second. It's better to plug the PLCs directly into the wall and not on a power strip because you will have losses. After all, that's why they have passthrough, so you can put the power strips on top of the PLCs and not the other way around. Also, you can download the TP-Link application from their website on your computer, which connects to the PLC devices, to check their status, disable Power Saving mode, turn off the LED lights if they bother you, etc. The program takes a little while to communicate with the devices, so it requires some patience.
My modem/router reaches a maximum speed of 85 Mbps and a ping of 17 ms, with a maximum download speed of about 10 MB/s. In the room where I have installed the second PLC device, I get a ping of 17-18 ms and speeds ranging from 55 to 80 Mbps, more often around 65 MB/s. Download speeds range from 6 to 9.5 MB/s, with a more frequent speed of 7 MB/s. So there is a slight loss, but it doesn't bother me.
As for disconnections, with Power Saving mode disabled, it can happen 3-4 times a week, where the connection hangs and I have no internet for 1-2 minutes. In Power Saving mode, it was very annoying, happening several times a day. It usually happened when no data was being sent for a while, for example, if I was reading a long article or watching a 10-minute video on YouTube, and it was really frustrating. However, it didn't happen during video calls and gaming, where data is continuously being sent. That's why I am deducting 1 star because I would have liked a more stable connection. I have found that when the connection hangs, if I open the TP-Link program on my computer, the connection comes back within a few seconds instead of waiting for 2 minutes.
The ethernet ports and cables provided are up to 100mbps, which personally doesn't bother me since I don't need more than 100mbps for the next few years, and the price for Passthrough PLC models with gigabit ethernet was beyond my budget. So, for up to 100mbps internet connections, you shouldn't be too concerned unless you definitely plan on upgrading to 200+ in the near future. Plus, this model has 2 ports, so I can connect my laptop when I have online meetings and it works perfectly. You can also connect a router like the Xiaomi Mi 4A to the second port with ethernet and have a second wireless network in another room. Unfortunately, PLCs are influenced by various factors such as the condition/age of the wiring, distance between rooms, and if there are other power-consuming devices like water heaters, so your experiences may vary.
