I replaced it with a second one, and the exact same thing happened. You connect things, the lights don't turn on, and then suddenly after 5-15 minutes the lights turn on.
I bought this particular one because it has buttons (On/Off) for the devices, but also because it has lights where I thought it would be easier to see if I forgot to turn off a device. Unfortunately, from what I can see, the lights are fake, at least the buttons (On/Off) work properly.
(The lights most of the time will never turn on, at first they didn't turn on at all, that's why I replaced it. Every time I have to check the buttons to see if I forgot something turned on.)
I haven't connected anything for data transfer at the moment. I will update when I do.

Πήρα το συγκεκριμένο γιατί έχει κουμπιά (On/Off) για τις συσκευές αλλά και επειδή έχει και τα λαμπάκια όπου νόμιζα ότι θα είναι πιο εύκολο να δεις αν έχεις ξεχάσει κάποια συσκευή ανοικτή. Δυστηχώς από τι βλέπω τα λαμπάκια είναι μούφα, τουλάχιστον τα κουμπιά (On/Off) δουλεύουν κανονικά.
(Τα λαμπάκια τις περισσότερες φορές δεν θα ανάψουν ποτέ, στην αρχή δεν άναβαν καθόλου γιαυτό και έκανα αντικατάσταση. Κάθε φορά πρέπει να τσεκάρω τα κουμπιά για να δω ότι δεν ξέχασα κάτι ανοικτό.)
Δεν έχω συνδέσει κάτι για μεταφορά δεδομένων προς το παρόν. Όταν συνδέσω θα ενημερώσω.
One of the worst USB hubs. It has a maximum bandwidth of 1mb for all 7 ports combined. If you connect 3 flash drives for transfer, it will only go at 1mb for all 3, taking 200 years. With an external WiFi card, it reduced my download speed from 2mb to 1mb, and file transfer speeds are even worse when doing copy-paste. The mouse would lag heavily during simple file transfers or downloads using the external antenna. Just don't buy it.
