Truly a blast from the past! The famous submachine gun is produced in a 4.5mm caliber air gun version and is powered by 2 CO2 cartridges. It fires 4.5mm round steel pellets. The blowback operation and sound are truly impressive. The Legacy version features a folding stock and its base is fully metal with a weight similar to the real one. Additionally, its operating mechanism is semi-automatic. Finally, its metal frame gives it the authentic appearance of the 1940s with great detail.

The Legends MP by Umarex is a replica of the classic submachine gun used by the German army during World War II. Umarex has perfectly rendered this air gun that fires 4.5mm steel BBs. The frame and barrel are made of metal, with a polymer pistol grip and foregrip just like the real weapon. The stock is foldable just like the original. You can choose to use it with the stock folded or extend it for greater accuracy. The magazine stores two 12g CO2 cartridges, as well as 50 4.5mm steel BBs. Combining the blowback action and realistic sound, its use is an experience for any collector. The fire selector is located in front of the trigger guard. The Legacy model comes factory-aged to look as if it just returned from the battlefield.

This review is about a variation of the product

Well, this particular weapon is a great irony. While it is by far the best-made airgun of its kind that I have ever held, and I have held quite a few, the feeding system is poorly designed, resulting in constant jamming. The magazine is double row, but just before it feeds the pellet, it becomes single row, causing a bottleneck and not feeding the pellets properly. Any dry fire and as soon as you release the trigger, it gets stuck. This cannot be solved with oil on the magazine to make the pellets slide or with a stronger spring. So, we are talking about a weapon that is ideal for collection but inadequate for gameplay.
