I started with the Beste Freunde and continued with the entire Mit uns series. I am quite satisfied. Their downside is that the grammar is not concentrated and developed enough to require an additional grammar book. However, it is structured in a way that does not require extensive reading and one can cope perfectly with just the lesson and reading the words. Quite interesting topics and exercises. It meets Goethe's requirements to the fullest as it also highlights the types of exercises one will encounter in the exams. The result was achieving the B2 level of the Goethe exam on the first attempt.
