I changed all 3 mice and all 3 presented a problem, after 3 months (with extremely light use) on the left button, where it would lose click (no registration would occur). If, despite this, you are interested...read my review - which is valid, if it would work properly.
I recommend, however, to stay AWAY because many people have it and it is probably a design problem of the frame and not the switch (omron).
One of the best mice on the market with excellent palm support (I have a width of 9cm - length 19cm), especially for the middle and small fingers. Out of all the new, and not only, mice that I have tried, it is the only one that properly embraces the palm and the middle finger does not hang (like a foreign object) on the mousepad, dragging it. I think for these dimensions, medium-large, it is the only option, it will be difficult to find something similar.
The feeling is like an extension of the hand, perfectly natural and comfortable grip, almost airy, a result of the structure and the premium materials (it does not have annoying, unnecessary curves that make you feel warm and sweaty). I use palm and fingertip grip but I think it works for all. At the same time, its ergonomics are such that you have absolute control and regardless of the "intensity", nothing will be accidentally pressed.
The texture is different on the sides, rough to prevent slipping of the thumb and small finger, and smooth, velvety, on the entire top part, encouraging you to hold it firmly from the sides while allowing freedom of movement for the fingers that rest on the left-right buttons. Tremendous dexterity!
The sound it produces (left-right) is discreet but distinct enough to know that you pressed a button, with ideal responsiveness. The side buttons are perfectly placed (you don't have to search for them or make any effort...everything happens naturally, instinctively, effortlessly) with the right comfortable size, and the sniper button is more rigid and located in a recess so it is not accidentally pressed (it has never happened to me even though I touch it with my thumb, especially in palm grip).
The scroll wheel has a very good feel. Soft, with a tendency towards lightness but...with weight, crisp as needed (neither too loose nor too tight), and non-slip for absolute precision (when scrolling on a page, even at high speed, you always go exactly where you want with pixel accuracy and a complete stop). The force required for the wheel button is perfectly balanced between pressure (ease) and avoiding accidental clicks.
The sensor is well-known, reliable, and the feeling of control and speed is stellar.
In conclusion, for me, it is the best mouse, for any use, I highly recommend it!
With a price of 50 euros, I consider it budget...I still have the mx518 with 8 euros (I've squeezed it dry) since 2006.
P.S. It has 8 buttons, not 7 as incorrectly stated.
P.S.2. There are many settings for the lighting, DPI levels, no one will be disappointed here either.
P.S.3. There is the previous model (which is inferior, mainly in relation to the side buttons, but you will get an idea) in large stores.
3 (τρία) Ποντίκια άλλαξα και τα 3 παρουσίασαν πρόβλημα, μετά από 3 μήνες (με εξαιρετικά light χρήση) στο αριστερό κουμπί, όπου έχανε κλίκ (δεν γινόταν καταγραφή). Αν παρόλα αυτά έχετε όρεξη...διαβάστε την κριτική μου - που ισχυεί, άν θα δούλευε κανονικά.
Συνιστώ, όμως, να μείνετε ΜΑΚΡΥΑ γιατί το έχουν πολλοί και είναι μάλλον σχεδιαστικό πρόβλημα του σκελετού και όχι του διακόπτη (omron).
Απο τα καλύτερα ποντίκια που κυκλοφορούν με εξαιρετική στήριξη της παλάμης (έχω πλάτος 9εκ - μήκος 19) ειδικά του παράμεσου και του μικρού. Από όλα τα καινούργια, και όχι μόνο, ποντίκια που δοκίμασα, είναι το μόνο που αγκαλιάζει σωστά την παλάμη και δεν κρέμεται ο παράμεσος (σαν να είναι ξένο σώμα) πάνω στο mousepad σέρνοντας τον. Νομίζω ότι γι΄αυτές τις διαστάσεις δηλ μεσαίες-μεγάλες είναι μονόδρομος, δύσκολα θα βρείτε κάτι παρόμοιο.
Η αίσθηση είναι σαν προέκταση του χεριού, απόλυτα φυσική και ξεκούραστη λαβή σχεδόν αέρινη, αποτέλεσμα της δομής αλλά και των premium υλικών (δεν έχει ενοχλητικές, παράταιρες καμπύλες που σε ζεσταίνουν, ιδρώνουν). Χρησιμοποιώ palm & fingertip αλλά νομίζω ότι κάνει για όλες. Ταυτόχρονα η εργονομία του είναι τέτοια ώστε να έχεις τον απόλυτο έλεγχο και ανεξάρτητα από την "ένταση" να μην πατηθεί, ποτέ, κάτι κατά λάθος.
Η υφή είναι διαφορετική στα πλάγια, τραχιά για να μην γλιστράει ο αντίχειρας-παράμεσος και λεία, βελούδινη, σε όλο το πάνω μέρος, σε προτρέπει να το κρατάς σταθερά από τα πλάγια αλλά τα δάχτυλα που πατάνε στο αρ-δεξί να έχουν ελευθερία κίνησης. Τρομερή δεξιοτεχνία!
Ο ήχος που βγάζουν (αρι-δεξί) είναι διακριτικός αλλά διακριτός ώστε να ξέρεις ότι πάτησες κάποιο κουμπί, με ιδανική απόκριση. Τα πλάγια είναι τέλεια τοποθετημένα (ούτε τα ψάχνεις, ούτε χρειάζεται να κάνεις διατατικές...όλα γίνονται φυσικά, ενστικτωδώς, άκοπα) με σωστό άνετο μέγεθος, επίσης το sniper είναι πιό δύσκαμπτο και βρίσκεται σε εσοχή ώστε να μην πατιέται κατά λάθος (δεν μου έτυχε ούτε μια φορά παρότι το ακουμπάω με τον αντίχειρα ειδικά στην palm).
Η ροδέλα έχει πολύ καλή αίσθηση. Απαλή, με τάση προς το ελαφρύ αν και...με βαρύτητα, τραγανή όσο χρειάζεται (ούτε αέρας ούτε βαριά), αντιολισθητική απόλυτης ακρίβειας (όταν σκρολάρεις σε μια σελίδα, ακόμη και με μεγάλη ταχύτητα, πηγαίνεις πάντα εκεί που θέλεις με ακρίβεια pixel και απόλυτο stop ). Η δύναμη που χρειάζεται, το κουμπί της ροδέλας, ισορροπεί ιδανικά ανάμεσα στην πίεση (ευκολία) και την αποφυγή ακούσιων πατημάτων.
Ο σένσορας είναι γνωστός, αξιόπιστος , η αίσθηση του ελέγχου και της ταχύτητας είναι stellar.
Συμπερασματικά για μένα το καλύτερο ποντίκι, για όποια χρήση και αν προορίζεται, το προτείνω με χίλια!
Με 50εκ κλικ το θεωρώ budget...το mx518 με 8εκ κλικ (του χω πιεί το αίμα) το έχω ακόμη από το 2006.
υγ έχει 8 πλήκτρα και όχι 7 όπως λάθος γράφεται.
υγ2. πολλές οι ρυθμίσεις για τον φωτισμό, τα dpi levels, δεν θα μείνει κανένας παραπονεμένος ούτε και εδώ.
υγ3 υπάρχει, το προηγούμενο μοντέλο (το οποίο είναι κατώτερο, κυρίως σε σχέση με τα πλάγια κουμπιά, αλλά μια ιδέα θα την πάρετε) σε μεγάλα μαγαζιά.
