  • The mouse is no longer sold, but I must give it a review.

The mouse is good for basic office work, but I do not recommend it for this purpose.
For gaming, the mouse is designed for FPS games, but it can also be used for other genres of games.
Mice like this are also good for editing

  • Excellent, I would buy it again. I have had it for 3 years and it hasn't had any issues. It can take punches and doesn't understand anything. The best mouse I have ever bought

  • I have had the basilisk for 1 year. It is quite convenient for multimedia as it has 3 side buttons which can be customized by the user through synapse. I bought the mouse for about 30€ and I see that its price has increased, resulting in there being many better mice on the market. So, I don't know if it's worth buying it for 60€.

  • I have been using it since December 21 for office work and graphic design. The Razer program for programming the keys is very helpful and has been worth the money so far. I would like it to be a little heavier for a better feel in the hand.

Generally, as a mouse, I have no complaints, it does what I want, but never have I ever complained in the past that the click sound is audible and annoying! I use it on Skype for calls and for many hours, having to press mute every time is a no-no for me. It was the first Razer mouse I bought and if all their mice are like this, it will be the last.

The mouse is a very good choice for its price, with a very good feel in the hand and very good build quality with a fabric cable. However, if you don't use the side button and put that plastic cap that it contains THERE, it will make you lose faith! It constantly comes off and it's very difficult to put it back on! (I have owned the mouse for 2 years) + it has very good durability

I have it for years and I hit it whenever I lose a game (continuously, that is :P) and it hasn't suffered anything, so don't look at reviews on the weight, size, etc. of the mice, it depends on personal preferences and each person's hand. It's better to go to a store that has it as a sample to see if you like it in your hand

  • I have had it for about a week, but the improvement in quality is very noticeable. I used to have a regular mouse for Adobe and Autodesk programs, and after a long time of continuous use, my wrist would start to hurt. This particular mouse has a very good grip and supports my palm and wrist, so even after many hours of use, my hand doesn't get tired.

Expect an update in the future

  • I have it for 2 years. A very good budget mouse, especially from Razer! Comfortable to use! Now the buttons feel a bit pressed, and I justify it as I have been playing endlessly for these two years. I recommend it to anyone who is getting into gaming for the first time and in general for peripherals!

  • I got it in my hands today because the motospeed V30 gave up after 2 years.
Grip: Very comfortable in the hand and the left grips also help.
Buttons: They are not silent, they have a light clicking sound, not too noisy nor silent.
The multi-function button on the left is very useful as anyone can configure it with any commands they want for their needs, for example, to lower the mouse dpi in fps games.
Lighting: A variety of colors through Razer Synapse.
Cable: It seems durable and it is braided, not just plastic. It also includes a plastic packaging to keep it organized and not scattered.
Weight: In my opinion, it is ideal.
    Price: 29 euros.
Conclusion: Value for money with the guarantee of Razer.

  • Honorable mouse.
Perfect for simple and average users.
Apart from gaming, it is very convenient and worthy for photo and video editing software.
The extra button that changes the dpi while pressed is very useful.
Comfortable for the hours you spend on the PC.
The negative is that it is Razer :D (just kidding)

  • Excellent mouse comfortable in the hand and good in terms of quality, it helps a lot with the grips it has! Personally, I believe that the DPI drop button in a gaming mouse is a must for those who love FPS games! It also has a nice button behind the scroll wheel that allows you to instantly adjust the DPI from 800 to 6200, which makes it good for both browsing and fast gaming! If you buy it, I recommend downloading Razer Synapse 3.0 to customize it as you like!

    Positive: Large and high-quality cable
Ability to customize colors/DPI with Razer Synapse always
Has a nice construction on the left and right to prevent slipping of the finger
    Negative:
All plastic except for the left and right sides that I mentioned before
VERY light and slippery, difficult to grip
I personally bought it for $35, but there are much better options available
Personally, I recommend going for a different brand with this money

Beautiful, lightweight, comfortable to hold, with a "resting base" for the thumb, additionally adjustable (added or removed) dpi button, something that is considered important by many gamers, and additionally a beautiful, distinctive and adjustable RGB. The price has now dropped to around €30, so it is an opportunity for someone who wants a beautiful, sturdy, lightweight and at the same time robust gaming and not only mouse with the name of Razer

2021: I love it. I have had it for several months and I am fully satisfied.

2023 edit: Because I spend a lot of hours on the computer, I can say that it is one of the most comfortable mice I have used. It fills the hand perfectly and is convenient. One downside is that over the years, on the side where the side buttons are, the "rubber" has worn off from the thumb.

Although I believed that Razer has overpriced products for no reason, this mouse changed my opinion... For now, it has served me well and I don't know if I would find something as comfortable and stylish for the 35 euros I bought it for... I would prefer it to be a bit heavier, but I got used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore. If you are torn between this and the Deathadder Essential like I was, I think this one is worth more.

If it had more stars and others, I would put them.
I have had it for about 2 years and I have not encountered any problems like I read in other comments about double-clicking and such, the mouse is a beast, it works perfectly and I highly recommend it.
Back when I got it, it had about 60 or so, but surely others who have issues with the mouse probably got a defective one.
It's unlikely to have issues, it's not some random brand, it's RAZER...

Guys, I have no words. I was ready to get the motospeed v30 and happened to see the prices on razer. I didn't know that the prices on razer had dropped so dramatically. I was looking at the deathadder, but a friend of mine told me to get the basilisk as it has more features and is 2-3 euros more expensive. I really don't regret it. It's the best mouse I've ever held. Comfortable in the hand with a DPI button, which I consider very important in a mouse, and also RGB. The mouse has a clicky sound, but I wouldn't say it bothers me. As for the Razer app, I have to say that because I'm on Linux, I don't have the official application and the Linux version doesn't support this particular model, but I can change the DPI from the button and from the computer settings, although I can't customize the RGB.

Well, it's the best thing for its money, Razer. It's not the quietest mouse I've heard, but it's okay. It's extremely convenient, dude, and you'll love the feel of it. Instant response, perfect but simple unboxing experience, very good quality fabric cable, and through the free Razer Synapse software, it's fully customizable.

I have had it for 2 years and I consider it a VFM (budget) mouse. It has "survived" through rage and a lot of gaming, as I use it in combat games that require speed and accuracy in targeting. It has a nice RGB on the scroll wheel and the RAZER logo, which adds beauty to the setup.

Far and wide is the joke that forced me to hit walls, etc. The right click broke early, I blew on it to make it work while I was playing, resulting in me losing what I had gained. It's not worth the money, now I ordered the deathadder Essential for 30 something, even if it turns out to be crap Razer. Goodbye, I've had it for almost two years

10/10 everywhere except for the minimal noise it makes, which is expected of course. Perfect shape for medium/large hands, definitely not for small hands. Very good for FPS games and the shape and the DPI clutch button on the left side help a lot. Very good color, it doesn't fade, the RGB is also very nice and Razer Synapse is a pretty good software if you know how to use it.

The only possible negative is that the side button accidentally triggers while browsing and goes back a page. Otherwise, fantastic mouse

I was looking for an affordable gaming mouse because it was supposed to be durable. After 6 months, the double click problem started. It double clicks when you make a single click. You can no longer use it. Money wasted

To start with, the Pontiac is comfortable in hand. From the first moment I held it, I felt that the mouse was made for my hand. It is high-quality, has a braided cable, is lightweight, and therefore does not tire my hand. It is definitely worth the money and more!

  • Generally, as a mouse, I have no complaints, it does what I want, but never have I ever complained in the past that the click sound is audible and annoying! I use it on Skype for calls and for many hours, having to press mute every time is a no-no for me. It was the first Razer mouse I bought and if all their mice are like this, it will be the last.
