The Thera-Band Kinesiology tape uses XACTSTRECH technology, with hexagonal markers that indicate its stretch. When the small cell forms a regular hexagon, the stretch is 25%; when the large cell does too, it is 50%. The tape is applied to the lower back and supports the muscles and tendons without restricting range of motion.
It is made of 97.4% cotton and 2.6% spandex, contains no latex, and is water-resistant. It can stay in place for up to 5 days.
