The Avision AD240U scanner digitizes documents and cards, with automatic feeding and duplex scanning. Its straight paper path and reverse roller support scanning mixed batches of different sizes and weights, while paper protection stops scanning if a skewed page is detected. Ultrasonic multi-feed detection can be disabled for documents with labels, sticky notes, or receipts with tape.

Using Button Manager, scans can be converted to searchable PDFs and sent to a preset destination, such as a folder, email, printer, image-editing application, or cloud service. The LCD screen and buttons let you select a destination and start scanning, and up to nine scan settings and destinations can be saved. It supports TWAIN and ISIS drivers and includes Avision Button Manager, AVScan, and PaperPort.
