Tecsun S-8800 World Band Radio FM/LW/AM/SW/SSB.

The Tecsun S-8800 is equipped with analog High-IF circuits, triple conversion AM, and DSP decoding technology, offering excellent reception. It features Class AB amplifiers and a wide range speaker that creates superb sound with clear high and low tone selection. The remote control allows direct input of your favorite station's frequency.

Frequency range:

  • FM (selectable settings): 64 - 108 MHz, 76 - 108 MHz, 87 - 108 MHz, 88 - 108 MHz
  • LW: 100 - 519 kHz (tuning step 1 kHz or 9 kHz)
  • MW (selectable): 522 - 1620 kHz (9 kHz band step for Asia/Africa/Europe), 520 - 1710 kHz (10 kHz band step for America)
  • SW: 1711 - 29999 kHz (tuning step 1 kHz or 5 kHz)

    This radio is not for critics, it is a radio for someone to have coffee on the balcony and listen to the local stations of the city, until they reach the ham radio terminal. I have it connected to an external discone antenna, the reception on SW stations is indescribable. It also has SSB, LSB, USB, and it allows it to dive into deeper waters on medium and short frequencies.
