This review is about the capacity: 1000 GB

I have the corresponding model in 500GB. It was purchased 5-6 months ago and has started having issues for over a month now. Specifically, sometimes it is not recognized and requires a restart. Additionally, it has shown the first reallocated sector a week ago, and today (after another restart) it indicates 8 Current Pending Sector Count. The above in the S.M.A.R.T. It's a shame because I have other Toshiba drives and I was satisfied.
Update 12/21: I returned it to the store, they recognized that it is defective and gave me a credit.

The disk was purchased for my son's Playstation 4 because his own disk was full.
The PS4 does not accept disks thicker than 9.5 millimeters, so the only one I found at 2TB was this Toshiba.
In the end, as soon as I opened the console and removed the factory hard drive, I found out that it was also Toshiba and identical in appearance to the new one. Same series, just smaller in capacity.
The new disk was installed without any difficulty, we restored my child's games and from that moment it has worked exactly like the factory one.
From this perspective, since we weren't looking for something faster but something 100% compatible with the PS4, the purchase was a success, we have no complaints.

EDIT: Today, 26/3/2026, the disk works perfectly fine, no problem after almost 5 years of use.

It was purchased mainly due to its lower price compared to the competition. It functions as a storage in an htpc-mediaserver 24/7. Generally, Toshiba 2.5-inch HDDs have proven to be reliable in my hands.
