    Verified purchase

It could be a bit cheaper... You can't really call it a quality build monster but overall it's OK and both lamps heat just fine... With one it's so-so for maintenance... 600+600=1200watt... I hung it above the hallway door at the cottage, between the kitchen, living room, and WC... I left the cord on the 2nd setting... I had to disassemble the base to nail it to the wall with the plugs and then reassemble it again... A bit difficult but everything went well... The base tilts up and down... And if the cable was a bit longer, it wouldn't be bad... With two lamps, the smart plug measured 1111-1211w and around 547w with one lamp... Something else I'd like to mention is that after it's turned on and off, it makes some cracking noises due to expansion and contraction from the temperature...

    Update..
I'm revising my rating and from 5 stars I'm giving it two because it may not seem like a sturdy device... But after a year at the cottage with occasional use, one of the lamps gave out... So, off to the warranty... I'll update if needed...

    Warranty response..

    The store states:

Regarding the Quartz QRH-LX1029B heater, quartz lamps are considered consumable parts and are not covered by the warranty, as they wear out with use. The damage you mention, given that the purchase was made about a year ago, is considered normal wear and tear. The lamp can be found on the market as a spare part. Thank you.

In short, from what they tell me, in a few words, the warranty only covers the cable and the casing, if I understood correctly, which of course are unlikely to suffer much... So whenever it breaks down, apart from a few days' warranty that these lamps have—I think 7—you'll be left on your own as you'll have to change the lamps yourself if you know how... However, for a non-user serviceable device, not repairable by the user, this all seems strange to me... I mean, it's not a printer where you open a lid and change the ink... It requires disassembly and technical knowledge to change the lamp... And then there's the cost of the lamp, which if it reaches half the cost of the device, it's pointless to keep doing this... The minimum two-year warranty by law should cover the whole device since, as I said, it is NOT user-repairable, and after two years, let the lamps burn out... That's fine...
Also, I should mention that nowhere in the manual does it state the lamp's lifespan or anything generally about the lamp... And in fact, the manual forbids user intervention except by authorized service...
So, a legal issue arises here...
    That's all...

Finally, reduced to one star for the overall disappointment...

After the above, the return was approved and I'm waiting to see if there will be a repair, replacement, or refund... This is just for information... The rating will not change though...

Excellent product. Very good quality of construction. To be honest, I didn't expect such an economical stove to do such a good job.
